Working in education and ministry is a privilege, but it can also be challenging. There are time, personnel, and financial constraints that weigh heavy on the minds of teachers and staff. There are the needs of students and their families. There are the concerns about how to meet each individual student’s needs within the classroom, and there are the spiritual needs of our students, staff, teachers, and families. All of those things are burdens that are a privilege and an opportunity to see God constantly at work. However, it is also a great blessing to join with others who feel led to pray for the ministry of CPLE and its students, families, teachers, and staff. We’d love for you to keep us in your prayers and to be able to reach out to you with specific prayer requests when appropriate so that we can join together before the Lord in prayer.

There is always a need for volunteers at CPLE. It may be helping us connect with those in the community who have gifts and skills that can be shared with our students during field trips or internships. There may be needs to help with outings or hikes. We may be looking for a guest speaker to come in and share with our students on a particular topic. There may be a need to help with the preparation of a meal or a special event. We’d love to have you be a part of our support team by volunteering from time to time. This isn’t a lifelong commitment, just one to be a part of the team occasionally.

As with any new endeavor, there are many costs involved. There are opportunity costs. We have individuals currently filling more than one position while being paid for one. Others are paying for supplies and school needs out of their own pockets, and others are working free of charge. Why? The team the Lord has brought together believes in the vision and mission of CPLE and believes that God has called them to establish this ministry here in our valley.

God has blessed us with an incredible, solid group of families and students who form our enrollment for our inaugural year. Enrollment for a first-year program starting enrollment so late in the year has been very encouraging.

In order to continue to build a firm foundation and grow this ministry for children in the valley for years to come, we need the financial support of those who believe in what God is establishing through CPLE.
